License tagging for Image:P1010001iiiiiiiiiiiiiii.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:P1010001iiiiiiiiiiiiiii.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:11, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

Your article about Christine Finn

edit

Hello, to meet Wikipedia standards you'll likely need to tone down the article a bit, especially the first paragraph that implies she is an 'extraordinary' actress. Articles about a person shouldn't praise the subject too lavishly, or else they will be edited by others to make the article neutral. The large image will not be allowed either, so I'm going to change your article to use a small thumbnail, as is the Wiki custom. The reader will still be able to click on the image to get the full sized version.

I've noticed a lot of changes being made as you create the article. Please take advantage of the 'Show Preview' button when editing so that you don't save the article after every change. This will help reduce the burden on the Wiki servers. Lastly, I do hope the article isn't borrowed from sources with existing copyrights, otherwise the article may end up being deleted for copyright violations. Thank you - Pod Bay Door 15:26, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, it's me again. I've done some more clean up of the article to make it more in line with Wikipedia conventions. I hope you don't mind. I'll leave the rest of the editing up to you. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. - Pod Bay Door 16:34, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Well, I'm adding that I'm having a fair amount of confusion about the addition of a date of Death for Miss Finn since someone added it in and then later after i deleted it, e-mailed me to claim that she did actually die in december 2007 and he was a friend of her family's so who am I to say what is real here because I acknowledge that there is no public proof to back this up at present, but the person is a registered user here at Wikipedia. If the lack of solid public documented evidence means that this date of death must be taken down, well then so be it. User: Wmmvrrvrrmm Tuesday 4:03am GMT, 19th February 2008

Non-free rationale for File:Christine Finn.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Christine Finn.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
