Edit war
editSince you have reverted in the Anne Bayefsky article several times without motivating your actions on the talk page, thus ignoring the motivation for removing the material you want to have added, I have to inform you that this kind of behavior is forbidden by WP:EW. Furthermore, falsely describing your reverts minor edits is considered vandalism, per WP:VAND#Types of vandalism, Gaming the system. I hope you will seek consensus, and I see forward to constructive editions. Continued edit warring, however, may lead to blocking. --Jonund (talk) 20:22, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
I see you've been around for a while
edit...but saw your recent edits to Poly Prep Country Day School and thought you might not know about the Ref Toolbar, so hope the linkage & section that follows is a help. Shearonink (talk) 22:13, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks -- Wombatjpw (not sure right way to respond)
Adding references can be easy
edit Hello! Here's how to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain the Wikipedia policy of verifiability.
Adding well formatted references is actually quite easy:
- While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "Cite". Click on it.
- Then click on "Templates".
- Choose the most appropriate template and fill in as many details as you can. This will add a well formatted reference that is helpful in case the website link (web URL) becomes inactive (dead/link rot) at some point.
- Click on Preview when you're done filling out the 'Cite (web/news/book/journal)' to make sure that the reference is correct.
- Click on Insert to insert the reference into your editing window content.
- Click on Show preview to Preview all your editing changes.
- Click on Save page. ...and you've just added a complete reference to a Wikipedia article.
You can read more about this on Help:Edit toolbar or see this video File:RefTools.ogv.
Hope this helps, --Shearonink (talk) 22:18, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
- To use this message, place

Reference errors on 30 July
editHello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the Robert Fulford (journalist) page, your edit caused a DOI error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:23, 31 July 2016 (UTC)
I removed the controversial and uncited info per WP:BLP. What you added violated WP:NPOV. I suggest you take it to the talk page as WP:BLP and WP:NPOV are both policy and not guidelines and we all must adhere to it. freshacconci talk to me 14:47, 31 July 2016 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Suriname0. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Peter principle, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Suriname0 (talk) 23:39, 3 November 2024 (UTC)
