Your recent edits
editHi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 18:03, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Cleanup templates
editJust to let you know that most cleanup templates, like "{{Unreferenced}}", "{{Fact}}" and "{{Cleanup}}" etc., are best not "subst"ed . See WP:SUBST for more details. Regards, Rich Farmbrough, 00:19 16 December 2007 (GMT).
Fact templates
editThe date syntax is: {{Fact|any other arguments|date=December 2007}}, but if you leave the date off it will be added by a WP:BOT. Rich Farmbrough, 16:42 19 December 2007 (GMT).
Orphaned non-free media (Image:GreenvilleGeneral.png)
editThanks for uploading Image:GreenvilleGeneral.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:27, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
Clinton vs. Obama's age
editHi - I see you've reverted your change at Barack Obama. I'm not sure why you did this, but Obama is actually older than Clinton was (Clinton was 46 when he was inaugurated - Obama is currently 47). -- Rick Block (talk) 00:58, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yes. I'm not sure why you are asking since I reverted it. I caught my mistake almost as soon as I had made it. It was confused math which I clearly got wrong.--Woodwynlane (talk) 07:38, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. There are lots of reasons you might have reverted yourself and your edit summary doesn't say. I just wanted to make sure you realized what you were adding was not actually true. Happy editing! -- Rick Block (talk) 14:39, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Life In General (web series)
editThe article Life In General (web series) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Two episode ten minute pilot that never got picked up. No long-term notability.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ricky81682 (talk) 19:52, 23 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File source problem with File:HD20.JPG
editThank you for uploading File:HD20.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
