Hi thanks for your diligence in moderating Wikipedia, it is appreciated. I was wondering if you could help me understand how my contributions to the topics are spamming? I run a dog blog that discusses these exact topics and wanted to contribute to the wiki page where appropriate. Please note that Wikipedia is not for merely providing information. Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources state about article subjects. Thank you for clearing this up, what is the process for a direct source? The content I am putting out comes in part from veterinarians that I know personally, and may not be published elsewhere other than my blog, they were cited directly from them. WorkNwrite (talk) 20:58, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

Content on Wikipedia must be sourced to a published reliable source with editorial control and fact checking for verification purposes. Even if the blog was not yours(which is an issue itself) most blogs are not considered reliable sources. If the information you want to write about is not published anywhere other than your blog, the chances that information can be on Wikipedia are low. If you wish to assert that your blog should be considered a reliable source, you can attempt to do so at the reliable sources noticeboard- but if you just post information on your blog without editorial control, the chances you would succeed are low. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain this I really appreciate it. I see how this could be an issue and I understand the reason behind it. I was working on a unique graphic to illustrate the disorder I wrote about (the same disorder I wrote about which was marked as spam) that I would use on wiki for demonstration purposes (mentioned in my original edit notes), am I able to cite this to my blog as the creator (will be released with proper usage terms)? How does attribution work for images (I've looked through wiki and there seems to be conflicting info some of which may be depreciated). Thanks again WorkNwrite (talk) 00:56, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
