editThank you for your {{YGM}}, and thanks for reaching out by email. It was indeed wise that you sent me the contents of that email off-wiki as it included links to external blogs and speculations of identities on other websites. Regardless of off-wiki identity, editors are entitled to their opinions and one's opinions should not prejudice one's standing on Wikipedia.
As things currently stand on-wiki, Lester1231 is a single purpose account focussing on The Wandering Earth on both zh and en Wikipedias. Therefore I think the existing process of talk page discussion and page protection is sufficient in handling the dispute. MelanieN and Zanhe are handling this alright and I'm happy to defer to their expertise on Chinese sources and film reviews. Deryck C. 12:20, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
@Deryck Chan:Thanks. Just wondering: IF I know someone is intentionally doing sabotage to something or someone, what can I do except defending from every single page in the talk-page? Is there a way I can report that the speicific is in bad faith? Thanks Wraper11 (talk) 17:05, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
Also @Deryck Chan:, I have another question that: now pretty much everyone is not supporting Lester1231's words added to the page. How about a few months later and he or another people come back and add similar words? What will happen? Will that be treated a violation of rules? Wraper11 (talk) 17:36, 8 March 2019 (UTC)
- If you find that a user is pushing a specific agenda about something or someone over multiple pages, you can raise this at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest/Noticeboard or Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard.
- As for The Wandering Earth, now that there's an emerging consensus not to include the review by Soundtrack Magazine in the current discussion, if somebody brings up the same issue again I think the default position is to stick to the same outcome and start another discussion on the talk page. You are welcome to ping the participants of this discussion to contribute again. Deryck C. 00:15, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
@Deryck Chan: Great, thank you for letting me know how to use wiki better. So any talks/discussion in the talk page, even though consensus is made, will stay in the talk page and will not be archieved or hided or deleted? Wraper11 (talk) 02:49, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
