Speedy deletion nomination of The League of Peace Foundation

edit

Hello Writer-on-foundations,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The League of Peace Foundation for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. {C  A S U K I T E  T} 01:02, 2 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

In my opinion, the editor that tagged your article was correct. So was the administrator that actually deleted it. Apart from the League of Peace Foundation's website - which appears to be a single page with not a lot going for it - I can find one mention on Google of the organisation, and that is only in the blurb section of the link. The actual target doesn't seem to mention the League. If there are no reliable independent sources, there won't be an article. It is up to you to prove to us that the League is notable. As it is, it would seem to shun publicity and contact, and I am going to respect that and leave the article deleted. Peridon (talk) 13:15, 6 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
