Welcome and introduction
editHi, Writerauthor. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person by golly! And this real person (that would be me), wants to say welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've made an account! Thanks for joining; you're on your way to making some great contributions.
Because I've noticed you've just joined, I wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. Any questions are fine, nothing is too silly (we've heard them all). Now, the tips below - hop on them - they should help you begin editing. Best of luck! JoeSmack Talk 16:25, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page. (You'll want to sign your name with these four tildes ~~~~ when you leave something on a talk page to help know who you are!) Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia! |
P.S. If you just feel like poking around, Wikipedia:Help is a good place to start. :)
- Looks like you're doing great so far to me! That last edit was good as Wikipedia assumes a neutral point-of-view - saying 'the latest...' is often going to be obsolete in however many months. Since Wikipedia is in it for the long haul as an encyclopedia, we try to nix those, just like you did! Wonderful wonderful!
- Any time, just leave a message on my talk page. Alternately there is an easy chat interface using IRC for more real-time help using this link. Happy editing, and again, welcome to Wikipedia! :) JoeSmack Talk 17:33, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
- Just click on the link above or right here ----> Wikipedia:Neutral point-of-view. It's definitely a mainstay of Wikipedia! JoeSmack Talk 16:13, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
The article Cutting Moments has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 20:42, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
