Speedy deletion of Xengevity

A tag has been placed on Xengevity, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. You should read the guidelines at WP:ADVERT, WP:COI, WP:ORG and WP:Business' FAQ. Articles not complying with these guidelines are likely to be deleted. The underlying theme is that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not an advertising medium or a business directory, and that you should not be writing about your own business. Blatant advertising

The tag placed onto Xengevity specifically instructed "If this page does not meet the criteria for speedy deletion, or you intend to fix it, please remove this notice, but do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you created this page and you disagree with its proposed speedy deletion, please add: {{hangon}}"
You removed the tag, and I find the article "Blatant advertising. Pages which exclusively promote some entity and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic" as per official policy of Wikipedia:SPEEDY#General_criteria. David Ruben ^Talk 01:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Spamming of link

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. Username that of a company

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy for the following reason: Your username would seem to be that of Xengevity company, and shared accounts are not permitted (ie only individuals may sign up), unless it were the case that Xengevity is a single individual, which seems unlikely. Your username therefore should not imply you are, or represent, an organisation (see Wikipedia:Username policy#Company/group names). Please also consider your contributions so far - just adding external links to Xengevity would be seen as a single purpose account and probably result in closure of your account (see Wikipedia:Username policy#Single-purpose accounts and Wikipedia:Single-purpose account). I would suggest you consider changing your username as described below :-).. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

• If you can relieve my concern through discussing it here, I can stop worrying about it.
• If the two of us can't agree here, we can ask for help through Wikipedia's dispute resolution process, such as requesting comments from other Wikipedians. Wikipedia administrators usually abide by agreements reached through this process.

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia, because of concerns that the chosen username may not meet our username policy.
