TAR Aus
editHi Xoruz, I saw that you added the unaired tasks to the wikipedia page of TARAUS2.
If you don't mind, can you also add them to TAR Wikia please: https://amazingrace.fandom.com/wiki/The_Amazing_Race_Australia_2#Episodes — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49ersthebest (talk • contribs) 22:27, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
TARC CANADA
editHi Xoruz, first thank you so much for all the work you are doing for TARC. As a fan, I would love to keep the links that you just removed in the result table as way quick access way to profile whiteout having to read through the other paragraphs. Its very confusing to have to scroll throught other text to find more info about contestants. I think the links in the table are welcomed and give fans a easier access to the contestant's profiles. A link on the result table was also done for Elias Theodorou on season 3 of TARC. Can we please agree to leave it there. Lethweimaster

TAR 8 and Latin 4 Final Memory Challenge
editHi Xoruz,
I noticed that you did added a memory challenge solution to the final leg on third TAR Australian season, and also a long-time TAR fan (I am too, for the record); for the sake for viewers who did not see the series and want to know the answers, just like the one did in TAR14 or TAR China Rush 2 etc, can you do a solution/answer for the final memory challenge for The Amazing Race 8 (Final Amazing Challenge) and The Amazing Race 4 (Latin America) (Final Leg), and if possible, any answers to questionaire tasks as seen in The Amazing Race Australia 2 or Asia 4, or the memory code task in TAR25? Thank you so much if you appreciate helping us one another!
BTW, I also did minor editing on grammar and format and anonymous users (like me) did all the help for them. I will help you as well. (203.78.15.150 (talk) 06:29, 25 August 2019 (UTC))
- TAR 8's was a web exclusive to the CBS website at the time that I haven't been able to find since, but the others are possible. Xoruz (talk) 13:11, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi Xoruz, I noticed on the edits, it was pretty good to say at least; and I also saw you added the icon for a face-off/duel/head-to-head and One Way icons on the respective pages. Well done for the clean-up! I can sugggest improve the article clarity further (including adding missing airdates on the HaMerotz LaMillion 2 and The Amazing Race: China Rush 1). (203.78.15.150 (talk) 05:11, 4 September 2019 (UTC))
- P.S.: If time permits, may I also use colour coding for the Countries and Places visited for other versions to indicate which countries the race visited before the original American version (i.e. pink if the country made their franchise-first visit, Yellow if a previous country visited during other versions but had yet to visit in the American version, and Green for country visited in the American version. Examples such as Nepal (pink), Cuba (pink in the Australian version, Yellow for the Canadian version), Indonesia (Green for all versions)). For the record, the race and the whole franchise had visited over 100 countries, believe it or not! (203.78.15.150 (talk) 05:45, 4 September 2019 (UTC))

"Future appearance" proposal for TAR articles
editHi there, @Xoruz:,
I recently saw those from Survivor (American TV series)-related articles and now I was writing concerns on wanting to improve those articles such as Survivor and Big Brother, with an inclusion of the subhead section "Future Appearance" in all TAR articles which feature teams that would return in a future season, or any other relevant appearances. I think that the "Production" and "Casting" needs to be reorganized as a section so that it will flow the context more smoothly. I just gave some ideas just a heads up. TVSGuy (talk) 06:16, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- TVSGuy So a change like this. Xoruz (talk) 11:53, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Xoruz: Not bad. I think placements may also included if needed, otherwise if not, then maybe cleanup for Survivor or BB will be fine if time permits, but otherwise pretty fine. TVSGuy (talk) 05:39, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
A little help please
editHey, @Xoruz: I have a favor to help with the page on The Bachelor (American season 24) as my edits on the finale part 2 episode (aired March 10, 2020) have been reverted twice due to poor English issues as English is my second language. That needs a major help:
The Bachelor (American season 24) finale, aired March 10, 2020

---|
The episode concluded when Madison had already departing Australia and left Peter's heart, Peter got nervous on what he is doing next and thinking that Hannah Ann is the one planning to get engaged to her. Chris Harrison came to Peter's place knowing Peter became frustrated and totally shocked, then Peter had his opinion to propose Hannah Ann. When Hannah Ann arrives at the final rose ceremony, Peter proposes to her and giving the final impression rose. A couple of months later, Peter meets with his family in Los Angeles and telling the news of his engagement with Hannah Ann, then Peter calls Hannah Ann to his family on this exciting moment. Several weeks later, Peter arrived at the safe house and has to talk to Hannah Ann, as Hannah Ann felt sobbed, depressed and lost her emotion, Peter follows her and declared the engagement is about to end. Then, Peter and Hannah Ann are seen for the first time since the breakup and Hannah Ann gives Peter an apology to accept the plea. Chris comes to Auburn, Alabama to see Madison and he asked the news on Peter's breakup with Hannah Ann and he tells Madison that she is barely in love with Peter, and Madison prepares to travel to Los Angeles. Peter and Madison are seen for the first time since Madison's sudden elimination back in Australia and they have asked a second chance to pursue a relationship. Peter's mother Barbara is on stage and telling the facts over Madison's feelings when Peter's family first met her during the first date. Knowing that Barbara has really done nothing in common with Madison that specifically letting Peter on his relationship with Madison would become better. |

The Amazing Race
editThank you for all of your efforts to keep these articles so well constructed! Bgsu98 (talk) 13:32, 22 September 2022 (UTC)
- @Xoruz, please take a look at some of the modifications I've made to The Amazing Race 1. We need to remember that this is a TV show. I saw where you added relevant details to each leg regarding who won a challenge, or who did a particular challenge. I think that's good! Look at the individual Survivor articles. The episode summaries include not only the details of the challenges, but also the interpersonal dynamics between the teams. This is where notations like "X overslept and left the pit stop late" and "Team Y was eliminated with the Express Pass in their possession" belong. Let me know what you think. Bgsu98 (talk) 18:55, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- Bgsu98 I don't see that as necessary as task-based shows like DWTS, Project Runway, and Top Chef only include task info and no interpersonal dynamics. That makes sense for social games like Survivor and BB. If that stuff has to be included, it could probably go under additional notes. Xoruz (talk) 19:00, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- The Amazing Race has always been more like Survivor and Big Brother than those other shows. Bgsu98 (talk) 19:04, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
- Not really. It's called CBS' "black sheep"/"red-headed stepchild" by fans for a reason as it's not a strategy show. Xoruz (talk) 19:07, 8 October 2022 (UTC)

- Is there a mat at the Starting Line? I can't remember for sure, but I'm thinking not. I wish we had an icon for the Starting Line. Bgsu98 (Talk) 16:29, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- No mat, just Phil and the teams. Xoruz (talk) 16:52, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- I didn't think so. I wish we had an icon we could use for the Starting Line, because I like the symmetry of an icon at the beginning and end of each section. Any suggestions? Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:33, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
- I don't have one. There has never been a graphic or anything unique for the Starting Line. Xoruz (talk) 17:38, 23 November 2022 (UTC)

I have just finished updating season 13. I haven't seen this season since it aired originally, and there are some holes in the chronology of events. If you see anything that is missing, please add them. I am currently re-watching older seasons since Paramount+ finally added them all back, but I am still on season 10. Bgsu98 (Talk) 03:00, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- In leg 1, there is a church listed among the locations, between the military base and the Roadblock, but there is no mention of it in the text. Did teams have to do anything at the church besides pick up another clue? Bgsu98 (Talk) 16:20, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- That's where they got the Detour clue. Xoruz (talk) 17:08, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- I have a question about this: The Amazing Race 14#Leg 1 (United States → Switzerland)... it says that teams flew to either Milan or Zurich, and then traveled by train to Locarno, but the locations show train travel from either Zurich or Chiasso. How did teams get from Milan to Chiasso? Bgsu98 (Talk) 23:25, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
- Taxi. Xoruz (talk) 02:13, 26 November 2022 (UTC)
I can go pull up the episode and check later, but if you know whether some of the trains on Leg 8 (Botswana → Switzerland) are actually funiculars (which I seem to think they are), and can change them without having to re-watch the actual episode, that would be great. I appreciate that you have been catching my small errors while I have been trying to put the episode's events in chronological order, so thank you for that! Bgsu98 (Talk) 20:23, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- They were all trains. Xoruz (talk) 20:50, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- Even up in the mountains, none of them were funiculars? Bgsu98 (Talk) 21:16, 4 December 2022 (UTC)
- It's the highest railway in Europe. Xoruz (talk) 22:36, 4 December 2022 (UTC)

Legs 8 and 9 had the same pit start locations? Bgsu98 (Talk) 22:22, 13 December 2022 (UTC)
There was an unaired task in The Amazing Race 3#Leg 3 (Mexico → England → Scotland) that took place after the teams arrived in London, but before they left for Cambridge. I haven't been able to find a source on it. It's been several years since the season aired, so I don't remember what the task was, but I seem to remember it was pretty dopey and didn't affect the teams' order. If you know of a source, please add it. Bgsu98 (Talk) 22:38, 17 December 2022 (UTC)
I have looked, and I cannot find a source for that lengthy explanation about the Fort Worth Stockyards challenge in the last episode. Where did all of that come from? Bgsu98 (Talk) 17:46, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
- Probably TWOP but also seeing shots with all of the photos instead of just one. Xoruz (talk) 17:55, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
You added the following comment to The Amazing Race 24#Leg 10 (Switzerland → Spain): "In an unaired segment, teams had to travel by horse-drawn carriage from the Plaza de América to the pit stop at the Plaza de España." Yet, the source states the following: "In this Route Marker, Country singers Caroline (left) and Jennifer (right) must make their way to Plaza de America in a horse drawn carriage." Where on the route did teams stop at the Plaza de America? Bgsu98 (Talk) 21:18, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- The order was U-Turn, go to Plaza de America, and take horse to Pit Stop. Xoruz (talk) 21:43, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- But the source says they took a carriage to the Plaza de America. Bgsu98 (Talk) 22:22, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- The secret scenes at the time showed the order I mentioned. Xoruz (talk) 22:23, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Do you want to insert the Plaza de America into the list of locations wherever it's appropriate? Bgsu98 (Talk) 22:25, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Is the caption of that photo on the source just wrong? Bgsu98 (Talk) 22:31, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah, it happens. Xoruz (talk) 22:45, 24 December 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for your help in improving this article today! I'm sorry that sometimes our edits overlapped; I think I inadvertently overwrote one of your edits, but I believe I reinstated it. I do have a question, though: the note for leg 2 states: "Jen & Shawn chose to withdraw from the race after Shawn dislocated his shoulder during the surfing task. Jon visited them at the Tofino General Hospital in Tofino to inform them of their elimination." Did they withdraw (ie. quit), or were they simply eliminated because all of the other teams checked in while they were being tended to at the hospital? Because that note gives a conflicting statement. Was it like Becca & Floyd, who stopped racing to be tended to by medical, and also happened to be eliminated, or was it like Dave & Connor, who made a conscious decision to withdraw from the race? Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:47, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
- Jon and Jen said that they chose to withdraw from the race. Rex & Bob were still waiting out their penalty, so all of the teams hadn't checked in. Xoruz (talk) 10:11, 20 June 2023 (UTC)
There is contradictory information in Leg 3 (Alberta → Vietnam). When you have a chance, please take a look and clarify exactly what happened after the Roadblock. Thank you so much! Bgsu98 (Talk) 01:35, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
Leg 7 (Ontario) apparently aired over two episodes. Was this a double leg or mega leg or something special, or just an ordinary leg split over two episodes? I see there is no notation on the placement chart as to the teams' placement at the midpoint of the leg. Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:09, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Never mind, I think that was bad information. Someone had two dates listed for leg 7, but the same date was given for leg 6. It looks like there were only 11 episodes total (and 11 legs). Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:12, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Double leg with teams told to keep racing. Unlike other instances, Jon did a voice-over for the first clue of the Kingston leg, and all but one team were shown getting on a train. Xoruz (talk) 02:14, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Are you referring to what's listed as Leg 6 and Leg 7? Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:26, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, Leg 6 is Hamilton and Leg 7 is Kingston. Xoruz (talk) 02:27, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Are they truly two separate legs, or are they like The Amazing Race 7#Leg 8 (Botswana → India)? Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:29, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Truly two separate legs, like TAR 18 Legs 1 & 2. Xoruz (talk) 02:30, 23 June 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you for clarifying for me! Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:31, 23 June 2023 (UTC)

I am unsure about how the beginning of leg 1 started: Leg 1 (British Columbia). There seems to be a ferry ride, and then a gondola, but I don't know where these places are in relation to one another. When you have a minute, could you take a look at that? Thank you so much! Bgsu98 (Talk) 20:26, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
- There also seems to be some missing information from Leg 4 (British Columbia → Indonesia). Bgsu98 (Talk) 20:34, 25 June 2023 (UTC)

Hi, Xoruz!
I've while ago noticed you have took part for updating the Draft page of Amazing Race Suomi, the upcoming finnish version of the program. (or at least shown interest towards the topic)
Would you be able to help me updating the episode results when it airs, and are you able to watch the program at all?!
Help would be pleased if you anyways can do that! Theamazingracefinland1 (talk) 08:20, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- If I'm able to watch it, then I will help to update it. Xoruz (talk) 12:53, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- It probably depends where you are, and i'm sure that apps like NordVPN will help from that, because i'm sure Nelonen won't be able to show it internationally, due rights & other reasons.
- Thanks for the reply! Theamazingracefinland1 (talk) 13:21, 16 July 2023 (UTC)

I apologize; it seems I began editing this season a while back and must have stopped and never got back to it. You should have let me know; I'd have been happy to finish it. Anyway, I left a few notes in brackets for some items that need clarification when you have a minute. Thank you as always! Bgsu98 (Talk) 02:48, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
- I've addressed the brackets. Xoruz (talk) 02:51, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

This source - https://thesupacoowackiestblogintheuniverse.wordpress.com/2020/08/29/the-amazing-race-australia-2-episode-4-rankings-arrested-development/ - indicates that the mystery abseil building was prior to the water park in leg 4. Bgsu98 (Talk) 00:34, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- Doesn't say that. Shane & Andrew were shown opening a red clue after the water park task. Look at the photo above "Shane also grabs the clue on his first attempt despite having his chest hit the board hard. They are sixth." (Not great, clearer in the episode). Xoruz (talk) 00:38, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- This is what that article states:
- UNAIRED TASK ALERT
- Teams had to find a random tucked away building prior to Wild Wadi where they had to rappel down a building. The building was far more obscure than finding a major landmark like Wild Wadi or Meydan Racecourse.
- Whenever Kym & Donna ask for directions, you never hear them specify the building once on-air.
- It doesn't look like Kym & Donna ever made it to the mystery building, much less the waterpark. Bgsu98 (Talk) 00:43, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- That's a mistake. The podcast link goes in depth about Kym & Donna getting lost driving from Wild Wadi to the Roadblock. Donna is also holding a red clue in that photo. Xoruz (talk) 00:45, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you for clarifying. They just did not show Kym & Donna at the waterpark, even though they did do that task? Bgsu98 (Talk) 00:47, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- At 25:47, Kym was shown doing the waterpark task. It's blink and you'll miss. Xoruz (talk) 00:49, 19 July 2023 (UTC)
- That story about the two ladies being detained by the police sounds like it should probably be included in the Additional notes section! Bgsu98 (Talk) 01:46, 19 July 2023 (UTC)

Which form should we use for this? The main article is zip line (two words), and we've used both zipline (one word) and zip-line (with hyphen). I'm fine with any of those; I just want them to be consistent among seasons. Bgsu98 (Talk) 00:03, 4 February 2024 (UTC)
