editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:43, 4 January 2010 (UTC)

Uh, I don't know how to report someone. Yes, I've seen the large number of changes he's making. Its frustrating, but I don't have much time to go through and correct all of it :-(

Unblock
editHello, this is Gustakh. It seems I have been blocked from editing wiki on charges of sock puppetry or meat puppetry. I am a new user and am not sure how to go about getting the block lifted. Read the wikiguide, but wasn't much help on how I go about getting my account restored. I don't even know wiki functions well enough to lodge an unblock request.

Request reason:
I am not a sock or meat puppet of Misconceptions2. I don't even know who he/she is. I made this account because a topic named "Caravan Raids", I read a couple weeks ago, kept getting redirected to something entirely different and unrelated, which is pretty close to censorship. I merely removed the redirect and was blocked without being asked anything. The only other edit I've done is on the "Muhammad as a commander" page removing a wrongly cited hadith from the Jewish-Muslim engagement page. You can check my IP to make sure I am not a proxy or sock account. If there is anything I should do to prove my innocence, please let me know.
Decline reason:
I've reviewed the SPI case and it seems pretty clear that you are in violation of either WP:SOCK or WP:MEAT. The idea that your first edits to Wikipedia just happened by mere coincidence to be to an article at the center of a swarm of edit warring sock accounts is difficult to believe. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
{{unblock |1=I can explain that. I read an article relating to Caravan_raids on wiki and linked to it on another discussion forum. I was told that the article relates to ghazwas. When I came back to check on wiki, the article had indeed been redirected to Ghazwas. At that time I wasn't aware that pages can be redirected like that. Searching for it on wiki for about an hour I finally noticed and clicked the history tab and realized that some people were redirecting the article to something entirely different. All I did was remove the code that was redirecting the query to a different unrelated page but obviously got caught in crossfire between two groups. Here is the history for that page.

You can review my edits. They're only undo's to #redirect codes made by other editors. I am a free thinker and not a puppet of anyone :-/ | }}
