edit

  Hello, I'm 3PPYB6. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to BitChute seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — 3PPYB6 (T / C / L)03:30, 29 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

The article view of bitchute is currently totally unfair because while the platform hosted in the past the content it mentions it is now fully compliant and having that sentence as the first one of the article makes it sound like bitchute is a neo nazi den while it is not and totally slanders the platform. Please see https://www.ofcom.org.uk/online-safety/illegal-and-harmful-content/bitchute-03-10-2023/ https://www.ofcom.org.uk/online-safety/illegal-and-harmful-content/bitchute-improves-its-safety-measures-following-engagement-with-ofcom/
Therefore my suggestion is to remove the sentence "while the service is known for hosting neo-Nazis, harmful conspiracy theories, and hate speech." Xyron1987 (talk) 09:25, 30 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Bitchute. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 15:04, 3 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Could you please stop reverting my changes to the page? The website had some nazi posters at the beginning of it over 7 years ago, since then it became fully compliant and still describing it as a meeting point for nazi groups is slandering the platform.
