Your user page
editHi YaakovOfNY: Welcome and Shalom Aleichem to you. Hope you enjoy editing and writing on Wikipedia. Please add some information about your interests or whatever you like to your user page at User:YaakovOfNY it will help to give other editors a better sense of you and your interests. Thanks. Shanah Tovah! I appreciate your boldness, but suggest discussing such a large change on the talk page in Talk:Minyan before rather than after doing it. I've reverted to maintain the status quo pending discussion. As I explain in my response to your comment in Talk:Minyan, I agree this material is problematic but believe it should be improved and/or moved elsewhere rather than deleted. Best, --Shirahadasha 00:48, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi! The material you removed on women in the middle ages is cited to the Pious and Rebellious book listed in the references and includes a direct quote. Because sourcing in religion articles is uneven and they can use endnotes rather than or in addition to footnotes, I would suggest tagging rather than removing material you believe is unsourced (you can use {{fact}} after each such sentence or paragraph) rather than simply deleting material. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mendel Shapiro
editHi YaakovOfNY: I noticed that you were recently adding new comments to the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mendel Shapiro page but it has long been closed and comments are not added after a debate page is officially "sealed" closed. If you wish to comment, then go to the original Mendel Shapiro article's talk page or to the talk page of the editor you wish to discuss something with. But please do not add comments like you did because that could be called a violation of WP:VANDALISM for which you could be blocked by an admin. Be well and feel free to be in touch with me if you have any questions. Sincerely, IZAK (talk) 16:05, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
Your empty user page
editHi again YaakovOfNY: Your User:YaakovOfNY page is empty. Usually it helps if you could write just afew things about your interests or anything else you may want others to read so that they get some sense of your interests. Best wishes, IZAK (talk) 16:07, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
