Thanks for your collaboration at last night's event! Please feel free to be in touch with any questions or issues in the future. Artchivist1 (talk) 14:51, 12 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

There was an item on last night's news about last night's edit-a-thon. I wrote the first draft on Reggae Lane, a few years ago, and after watching last-night's item I decided to go back and see if there was an article on the guy who composed the song Reggae Lane. There wasn't, so I started Jay Douglas (Reggae). If a list is being kept of articles that were a result of that edit-a-thon, perhaps it should be added...
I've only met one other wikipedia contributor, Joshua Boyle, the Canadian whose life is at risk now that he is a captive of the Taliban. I've been worried sick about him, but didn't start an article about him out of deference to his family's apparent desire to keep a low profile on his capture. Meanwhile, someone else recently started an article about him, and I am of two minds as to whether to improve it, or not.
Anyhow, if you or Artchivist1 have advice on how to learn about upcoming Toronto-based wikipedia events, I'd appreciate a heads-up.
Cheers! Geo Swan (talk) 17:42, 12 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
