Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Dark Phoenix (film). This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Heather Leviara (aka Green 34) 19:03, 5 February 2023 (UTC)

Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Yandere Simulator. Thank you. -- ferret (talk) 22:25, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 04:19, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

Request reason:
I acknowledge that my conduct was unacceptable and constituted vandalism, and there is no excuse for it. Just because I am angry at the decision of a college and the current presidential administration does not give me a right to vandalize an encyclopedic page, especially with such extreme and hateful language. My act of vandalism was a pretty grasp for attention and I fully apologize for it. Most of all, I can ensure that it will never happen again.
Accept reason:
I have unblocked you per your agreement below. The topic bans have been logged. As discussed, you may appeal them after one year(probably to WP:AN). 331dot (talk) 20:33, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
Recuse a glance at the talk page shows problems going back two years. I would recommend a topic ban for BLP's and a topic ban for American politics. I'm not big on asking people to describe the constructive edits they would make, and I don't do conditional unblocks anymore, so I'll leave this for someone with more working brain cells than I have.---- Deepfriedokra (talk) 20:58, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
- I concur. Would you agree to topic bans from BLPs and post-1992 American politics, broadly construed? Be aware of what that means- it means that if an edit has anything at all to do with a living person, or with post-1992 American politics, no matter how small a connection, you couldn't make the edit. You could appeal the bans after one year. 331dot (talk) 08:43, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
- Sounds like a fair compromise. Yankees2022 (talk) 13:32, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
- Just to be clear and prevent ambiguity, could you please state your agreement? 331dot (talk) 13:35, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
- I agree to a pair of topic bans on biographies of living people and American politics, which can be appealed after one year. Yankees2022 (talk) 13:38, 3 August 2025 (UTC)
