Dear Admins,
- I am writing to request an unblock for my account, User:Yaqub al-Mansur. I have been blocked indefinitely based on the suspicion of being a sockpuppet of User:بوكوس. I understand the importance of maintaining Wikipedia's integrity and I would like to clarify the situation.
- I have reviewed the evidence presented in the sockpuppet investigation and believe there may have been a misunderstanding. Here’s why:
- 1. Account History: My account has been primarily focused on contributing to articles related to the Almohad history, a subject I am passionate about. My edits and contributions have been concentrated on enhancing and expanding content within this area of interest.
- I would like to clarify that I have no association with User:بوكوس, and my activities on Wikipedia have been independent and in good faith. My work has been driven by a genuine interest in the historical topic and a desire to improve the quality of related articles.
- 2. Reason for Multiple Accounts: I created this account due to an issue with my previous account, User:Alexandre the terrible. Specifically, I had forgotten the password for that account and did not have an email address associated with it to facilitate a password reset. Consequently, I was unable to regain access to it and needed to create a new account to continue contributing to Wikipedia.
- I assure you that this new account is intended solely for genuine contributions and is not being used to evade any blocks or bans.
- 3. Evidence of Good Faith: I would like to highlight my commitment to Wikipedia's guidelines and my contributions to the project:
- Adherence to Wikipedia Standards: I have consistently avoided vandalizing pages and have focused on contributing valuable content to Wikipedia. My edits are always made with the intention of improving the accuracy and quality of the information presented.
- Creation of Quality Pages: I have created several pages that are backed by authentic and reliable sources such as Almohad campaign against Castille (1196-1197). I ensure that the content I add is well-researched, factual, and free from unnecessary embellishment.
- Constructive Contributions: My contributions have been aimed at enhancing Wikipedia’s overall quality and adhering to its content guidelines. I have taken care to provide accurate references and maintain the integrity of the articles I work on.
