Books WikiProject
editHi Yaronbutler2,
I saw your work on articles related to books and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to watch the WikiProject Books talk page, which is a noticeboard for Wikipedia's book coverage. It's a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about content related to books. Take a look for yourself!
And if you're looking for other juicy places to edit, consider adopting a cleanup category or participating in one of our current formal discussions.
Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Welcome (back) to Wikipedia! Hope to see you around. czar 00:36, 12 February 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Rebooks
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Rebooks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 18:02, 8 July 2018 (UTC)
Need to rewrite new article
editHi, I noticed your new article The Works of William Blake: Poetic, Symbolic and Critical, but it appears that at least some of the content has been copied from this website. Please read copyright violations for details on the Wikipedia policy. You should rewrite the sections of your article that were copied. Thanks! Schazjmd (talk) 16:19, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
- Schazjmd, it is very well you have noticed that, though these paragraphs for themselves are only a quotations, taken from other sources. The first one is taken from the Dictionary of National Biography, the other is
taken from that book: Richard Ellman, Yeats: The Man and the Masks. In my opinion, there is no limitation to use these references in the main section. This website is only intended for books selling. And if such a limitation exist, I would otherwise change my mind.--Yaronbutler2 (talk) 16:46, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
- Why do you believe that you can use verbatim text from Ellman's book? As it was recently republished in 2000, it's almost certainly still under copyright protection. You can see the comparison of the article to other websites in this tool. Please read the Wikipedia policy that I linked above. You can quote sources in an article, but quotations must be properly indicated and attributed. Articles must be written, not assembled by copying from multiple sources. (added) You might also benefit from reading the essay Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources. Schazjmd (talk) 17:57, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
- Schazjmd, thanks for your clarification but Ellmann's source, I believe, should be included in a resolute attribute, of course. I will change the wording, but I will be based on this quotation anyway.--Yaronbutler2 (talk) 18:16, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
- I don't know what you mean by "resolute attribute" but I'm glad to hear you'll be fixing the article. I'm going to tag it in the meantime, the template can be removed when the article is rewritten. Thanks! Schazjmd (talk) 18:30, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
The Works of William Blake: Poetic, Symbolic and Critical moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, The Works of William Blake: Poetic, Symbolic and Critical, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. editHello, I'm 力停. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Michael (archangel), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. 力停 (talk) 17:41, 29 October 2021 (UTC)
