You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 13:52, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is ridiculous, I didn’t do anything wrong Yeen3002 (talk) 14:19, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Right Here, you stated "I will be in contact with my lawyers and will be sending all your terminally online asses to jail." According to Wikipedia:No legal threats, the policy in question, you may be blocked for making legal threats. Per that policy "A legal threat, in this context, is a threat to engage in an external (real life) legal or other governmental process that would target Wikipedia or other editors...Users who post legal threats on Wikipedia are typically blocked from editing while the threats are outstanding." If you want to be allowed to edit Wikipedia, you need to unambiguously retract your legal threat and make it clear you do not intend to use legal action to threaten Wikipedia or any of its editors. --Jayron32 15:03, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
It was literally a first offense, this is out of hand completely Yeen3002 (talk) 16:31, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Suggestion: You ought to unambiguously withdraw your legal threat instead of complaining. Cullen328 (talk) 16:48, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please read WP:NLT. You are free to sue whom you choose, but cannot edit Wikipedia while the legal threat stands. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:05, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I agree. Anyone who threatens to bully other users via a legal threat is/was out of hand. To be unblocked, you need to unambiguously withdraw the threat. And perhaps there should be some discussion about your personal attacks. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:08, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Seriously, I recommend a WP:TOPICBAN on US politics, broadly construed. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 23:10, 12 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Gotcha, I withdraw my legal threat. Can I be freed now? Yeen3002 (talk) 03:39, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please request unblocking by copying (the part between the "pre" tags)
 {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
to the bottom of your talk page and filling in the "your reason here" space. A member of the unblock team with review your request. Best. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 09:32, 13 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Introduction to contentious topics

edit

You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
