Rewards 1

edit

The article Rewards 1 has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:42, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Minneapolis skyline.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 22:25, 28 October 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 22:25, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

File:Evergreen stuck suez canal.jpg

edit

Hi. I see that you've uploaded, and have been trying to add File:Evergreen stuck suez canal.jpg to a few pages. It's clearly not your "own work", and looks to be from a commercial satellite, so we can't use it. Do you have reason to believe that it's from a U.S. government satellite, though? Then it would be permissible, but we still need to change the tag on the file information page. Suffusion of Yellow (talk) 23:30, 27 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Clpo13. I noticed that you recently removed content from Shooting of Michael Brown without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. clpo13(talk) 23:36, 17 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Shooting of Michael Brown. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. EvergreenFir (talk) 01:35, 18 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
