Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Family tree

Yes, I got the impression that you thought it would "hang" at the right, like an inbox. Unfortunately it just appeared as a long bunch of boxes, pushing the article itself off the screen. The alteration you have now improves things, but it still seems to leave a very odd looking text. Im afraid I'm no good at the creation of these things. I can't do the coding. Ideally, I guess it should look something like the "Six Islamic Prophets" I've appended to this section. Hoenestly, I'd improve it myself if I could. I'm just hopeless at such things. Paul B (talk) 16:35, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Replied on your talk page. --xensyriaT 17:49, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
Yes, that looks a lot better. It still seems really big for many articles that are so tiny, but that may bve a reason to expand some of them if possible. Paul B (talk) 18:50, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Hello again, I've been trying to improve these articles on the Geoffreyian kings. I noticed an inconsistency between the succession boxes and your template. Jago of Britain (Iago) appears to be missing. He is mentioned by Geoffrey, though you'd miss him if you blinked [1]. Paul B (talk) 13:50, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Thanks, and good spot! I've now added Jago. I suppose he was missed out originally as it's not clear exactly who his parent was in relation to Gurgustius, whether his brother, sister, brother-in-law or sister-in-law. And heaven help me; it's not my template! I tried to go through and standardise all the kings' succession boxes a few months ago (I never knew quite how many there were that he wrote about!) and fixed whatever else I noticed at the time. I dimly seem to remember noticing that there was an early king that wasn't a descendant of Brutus, but you're right that Jago should be in there. Cheers for the other edits I've noticed too (and all the ones I haven't), and all the best. --xensyriaT 14:55, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

A thorough thumbs up

The sun never sets

Xensyria, while I realize some people don't take compliments all too seriously, I'm willing to take my chances here. I deeply appreciate your comments at the monarch-emperor TFD discussion. Your awareness of there being worlds apart from Western Europe and its satellites is refreshing in a community of persons that apparently thinks His Majesty is some sort of universal descriptor. If there were an intercultural awareness barnstar, I'd award it to you. But, for now, I offer this "sun never sets" graphic and my gratitude. Blurpeace 04:21, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Thanks; it was quite depressing to read someone say "I have no idea what you are talking about" to what you said, especially since Wikipedia's potential and ideals are so high. And thanks too for the pic; from what I've heard the eagle's eyes have turned into prisms since then, but they say the dragon that's outgrowing it to its west is at least as inward looking! Good old human nature, eh? --xensyriaT 18:24, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

Precious

peace
Thank you, helpful user who places peace above all, for quality contributions to articles such as The King of the Cats, for gnomish corrections of family trees and succession, for being open to requests for little improvements, as {{infobox book}}, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

Deprecated parameters

Hi Xensyria,

Thank you very much for so readily addressing my concerns regarding "Infobox book". I have reformatted the When God Writes Your Love Story infobox with the new parameters with respect to the publishers.

Hyphen/endash on Biodiversity

Hi, here you correctly changed some hyphens to endashes in page/year/percentage ranges. However, you also incorrectly changed some endashes in YYYY-MM-DD format dates to endashes; this has put the page in Category:CS1 errors: dates. Please confirm that you understand the YYYY-MM-DD changes to be incorrect per MOS:DATE/MOS:DASH and put them back? Thanks Rjwilmsi 15:13, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out – replacing the hyphens on those dates was a mistake, and I've now corrected it as you requested. Normally when I see a misplaced hyphen in an article I'll correct it, and sometimes I'll check if there are any more in the article, but it looks like in this case I lost concentration with all the page number hyphens in citations (and luckily gave up half-way through). ‑‑xensyriaT 00:13, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
