Spostamento da lancio a tiro del giavellotto

Avevo ingiustamente accusato Dre Rock qui ed avvertito Vito qui, se leggi già spiego perchè mi sembra una follia. Poi dopo la risposta di Dre, ho letto della tua motivazione, ma è senza consenso, tu non puoi capovelgere un'enciclopedia solo perché lo ritieni. Il lemma deve essere quello dell'uso comune non quello etimologicamente giusto (a parte, che enciclopedie vere, vedi link a Treccani che ho messo, manco così la pensano). --Kasper2006 (talk) 13:43, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Io invece ti rispondo qui perché su it.wiki sono bnnato a vita (anche se).

1. Non hai discusso con la comunità prima di effettuare lo spostamento. Non credi che 8 anni di esistenza del lemma "lancio del giavellotto" potessero meritarlo?
2. Nello spostare hai giustificato con la dettagliatissima nota "ma priva di fonti", ma non mettere quella del Prof. Paolo Moisè perché quello che dice lui vale quello che dice la FIDAL, la RAI (da 40 anni nelle sue sovraimpressioni).
3. Non vero che per gli inglesi "i 4 lanci" sono "throw", solo 3 di essi lo sono (i 3 lanci appunto), il peso è "shot".
4. Io t'ho linkato il lemma Treccani ma ti dico che anche per l'Enciclopedia De Agostini che ho casa è "lancio del giavellotto" (se vuoi posso farti la scansione). Perché queste enciclopedie dovrebbero essere meno precise di Wikipedia?

Continuiamo a discutere, semmai mi viene in mente qualcos'altro, per intanto, al di là del fatto che hai deciso da solo e nessuno (tranne me che non conto), ti si è opposto, una fonte (possibilmente autorevole quanto la mia "Traccani", che però va dall'altra parte), mettila...ma non quella dell'illustre Prof. Paolo Moisè ti prego. ;-) --Kasper2006 (talk) 15:01, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

EDIT Guarda bella: il it:Giavellotto mi dicono sia una it:Lancia (arma), ed una lancia si...lancia. Se il giavellotto fosse stato un "tiro" (e non, come è, una "lancia"), allora si che si tirava. ;-) --Kasper2006 (talk) 15:07, 13 June 2012 (UTC)

Purtroppo io non posso scriverti su it.wiki e son costretto a risponderti qui. Anch'io ho una fonte: Enciclopedia dello Sport (2004) di Roberto L. Quercetani Atletica - Le specialità: i lanci ove in basso è testuale «In Italia il lancio del giavellotto esisteva nell'ultima decade del 19° secolo solo come esercizio di precisione» L'argomento "enciclopedico" è appunto ospitato dal sito dell'enciclopedia Treccani, al contrario la tua fonte fa riferimento ad un calendario di gare regionali organizzate dalla FIDAL Lombardia. La stessa FIDAL che tu hai detto non essere affidabile quando parla di "lancio del giavellotto". Insomma la questione non è così semplice, ma se non vuoi prendere in considerazione le mie ragioni, fa nulla. --Kasper2006 (talk) 07:17, 15 June 2012 (UTC)

Credo Reference Update & Survey (your opinion requested)

Credo Reference, who generously donated 400 free Credo 250 research accounts to Wikipedia editors over the past two years, has offered to expand the program to include 100 additional reference resources. Credo wants Wikipedia editors to select which resources they want most. So, we put together a quick survey to do that:

It also asks some basic questions about what you like about the Credo program and what you might want to improve.

At this time only the initial 400 editors have accounts, but even if you do not have an account, you still might want to weigh in on which resources would be most valuable for the community (for example, through WikiProject Resource Exchange).

Also, if you have an account but no longer want to use it, please leave me a note so another editor can take your spot.
