Yue4prez
Welcome!
Welcome to Wikipedia, Yue4prez! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)
I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Ryan. 05:33, August 2, 2005 (UTC)
Franky Goes to Hollywood
editA "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Franky Goes to Hollywood, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - Sorry you don't agree with my proposed deletion. But, the article didn't really meet the guidelines for a proper Wikipedia article. Despite not being a credible secondary source for a college term paper, Wikipedia still has standards. Regardless, thank you for your contribution. Regards, Iknowyourider (t c) 01:57, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
- Regardless, maybe you should not be so antsy as to mark people's pages for deletion. There are better things to do. Tina. 01:32, 20 June 2007 (UTC) comment relocated here from User talk:Iknowyourider
- If it makes you feel any better, I've retracted my proposed deletion of the page in question. Also, if you wish to reply, please do so here; this page is on my watchlist. Best, Iknowyourider (t c) 06:12, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Franky Goes to Hollywood
editThe article Franky Goes to Hollywood has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article about one short film without trust sources. IMDB isn't trust source.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. (Carlos Emanuel) (talk) 04:58, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
