Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address by one person. SoCal edit-a-thon on October 25

Upcoming SoCal edit-a-thon: Unforgetting L.A. (10/25, 9am-5pm)

Hi. The Southern California Wikipedia community holds sporadic events year-round to meet in-person, welcome new editors, and teach each other the finer points of editing. The Unforgetting L.A. edit-a-thon and training workshop will take place at the 9th annual Los Angeles Archives Bazaar, and is hosted by online magazine East of Borneo in partnership with L.A. as Subject.
