Hey there, thanks for your edits to IVC filter. One tip that it looks like I can give you is this: we typically use secondary and recent sources like review articles or clinical practice guidelines per this guideline. One article I've worked on here is deep vein thrombosis. As you can see there, most things are cited to recent (within the last 2 or 3 years) review articles or clinical practice guidelines. Let me know on my talk page if I could be of any help or if you have any questions. Best. Biosthmors (talk) 17:00, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
--- Hi! Thanks for the information. The difficulty with the IVC filters is that most studies and information pertaining to it are sporadic at best. Meaning there are no recent studies. This is why the SIR was created, and manages guidelines for insertion/removal. Zackrspv (talk)
- You're welcome. Sorry I don't have the time to review in detail what you've contributed so far, I'm kinda busy on other things at the moment. Maybe another editor will come by and leave comments on the talk page or make further edits. Best. Biosthmors (talk) 22:22, 11 October 2012 (UTC)
