Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Sargodha, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Recent changes to Sargodha

Hello Zalingeishahpur. Thank you for contacting me the other day regarding the disposition of the Sargodha article. If you were not aware, I have offered to assist you [1] with the referencing process if you have sources to support your recent edits. There are editorial policies in place which state that original research is not permitted on Wikipedia, and that content must be verifiable through reliable sources. Your account may be blocked for disruption if you continue to make edits which do not meet these policies. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these policies and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 17:08, 30 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

An administrator has now semiprotected Sargodha. If you continue to make large changes to that article without supplying references you are risking a block. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 16:54, 1 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

List of most populous cities in Pakistan

edit

Hello Zalingeishahpur. I see that you have continued to edit the Sargodha article, but have failed to provide any sources for your edits, despite multiple requests asking you to do so. Interlinking to List of most populous cities in Pakistan as a source is unwise for two reasons: it is generally frowned upon to link to another Wikipedia article as a source, and in this specific case the list being linked is speculative and unsourced as well.

Will you please review our referencing guide at Help:Introduction to referencing? If you have a valid and independently verifiable source and don't know how to add it to the article this will be a useful resource, or you may contact me on your talk page. Please do not make any future edits to the Sargodha article until you have an opportunity to review and understand our verifiability policies. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 21:11, 6 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Karachi, you may be blocked from editing. Warning for repeated addition of unsourced/fake numbers. Thomas.W talk 13:21, 9 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Warning re unsourced edits

edit

If you continue to make unsourced edits at Sargodha or Karachi, you are risking a block. People have been giving you advice but you are ignoring it. Please ask for assistance if Wikipedia's sourcing requirements aren't clear. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 19:47, 11 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Edit warring at Sargodha

edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

Continued addition of unsourced content at Sargodha, for instance here, with no discussion on talk. You've had many warnings but seem to have ignored them all. The only talk post you ever left was here. That time, you simply declared you were correct while giving no evidence: "all are correct and give reliable information about city". Wikipedia does not trust random editors to have correct information through their personal knowledge; it needs to be shown from sources. See WP:GAB for how you can request unblock. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 14:08, 12 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have extended your block by two weeks for using a sock account while blocked. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Zalingeishahpur. You can use the appeal process outlined in above notice, if you wish. Abecedare (talk) 23:10, 20 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
Your block has been further extended till June 27th given continued use of sock accounts, namely Ghulampanjtan997 (talk · contribs), for disruptive editing. The next block is likely to be indefinite. Abecedare (talk) 01:46, 27 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
