Thank you for quality articles, particularly those related to New Zealand, such as Harry Laurent, William George Malone, Donald Forrester Brown, John Gildroy Grant, and many Victoria Cross recipients, for reviewing the work of others and guiding them, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

G'day, Zawed, I hope you are well. This evening I have done some work to reference the article on Lloyd Trigg, a New Zealand VC recipient. Disambiguation link notification for May 15
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited William Edgar Holmes, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Posthumous and British Expeditionary Force (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Although I have to say that it is about time you nominated some of those outstanding A class articles for FA! Gog the Mild (talk) 13:23, 23 May 2019 (UTC)
- Gog the Mild thanks for the Barnstar! RE: FA articles, I have just sold my house so nearly all my books, i.e. my sources, have been packed up for short term storage while the missus and I look for a new place. That will delay my getting onto the FA train for a little while unfortunately. Zawed (talk) 11:05, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- Drat! An excuse so convincing that there is no point in attempting to rebut it. I hope that you are settled somewhere new soon. Gog the Mild (talk) 12:28, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
- So. You unpacked yet? Gog the Mild (talk) 08:21, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
- Gog the Mild Yep, have been settled into our new house for a couple of months, we were able to find a nice one quite quickly. It's nice to have my books out again, I've even sprung out for another bookcase but still have a lot of doublestacked shelves! I've registered my first FA though, Jean-François-Marie de Surville. I intend to bring some more up for FA, need to pull finger. Cheers, Zawed (talk) 07:56, 30 August 2019 (UTC)
- I missed your FA! I assumed that being active at FAC I would have noticed it. Ah well. IMO several of your A class articles need little or nothing doing to be FA nominatable. Let me know if you would like me to do a pre-FAC copy edit and commentary on a couple.
- Glad that you seem to be settled now. Being between homes can be discombobulating. I manage to keep my books single stacked by having an outrageous number of bookshelves, and by ruthlessly weeding when I get an influx; but that is hard, hard. Gog the Mild (talk) 11:27, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

GAR of Bengal famine of 1943
Hello. This is spam, forgive me. I'm gonna go through various GAR/GA pages and look for people who appear active. All I'm asking for is a review, not asking for any specific outcome (i.e., not begging for a KEEP). The GAR is Wikipedia:Good article reassessment/Bengal famine of 1943/1. If you review and Delist, that's OK, so long as it gets a meaningful review...
The article is big, detailed and has a terrible history in various Content Review forums. In fact, it has been residing in Content Review Hell for a couple years now... In return for a review (not a specific outcome) I'll do any kinda gnomish or research work you wish. Forex, I love converting inconsistent referencing into {{{sfn}}}
, regardless of article size. I also help with all the errors that show up as described User:Lingzhi2/reviewsourcecheck. And so on. Thank you for reading this; forgive the intrusion. Cheers ♦ Lingzhi2 (talk) 04:53, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Article inclusion question
Hello Zawed. I have much edited an article that I believe may be appropriate for inclusion into the Military Project and, as such, am contacting you. It is New Albion and it regards an important moment in Sir Francis Drake's attacks against the Spanish Colonies and his circumnavigation. I am unsure how to have it reviewed for possible inclusion into the project and would like to know if you can tell me how that process works. Most kind regards,Hu Nhu (talk) 04:16, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, to add the article to the project is just a matter of adding the Milhist tag to the talk page and, for assessment of its class rating, submitting it to the assessment page. Personally, I think it is marginal for inclusion as it seems to be that the background section is where the military connection rather than the topic of the article itself. Cheers, Zawed (talk) 08:57, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for the information.Hu Nhu (talk) 15:25, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

Question
Since you reviewed it for GA, do you think 1974 White House helicopter incident it good enough to have a chance at FA? L293D (☎ • ✎) 14:20, 5 December 2019 (UTC)
- L293D, possibly but I strongly recommend putting it through an A-Class review at Milhist before going to FA; the more eyes on the article before it is submitted to FA the better. Cheers, Zawed (talk) 22:21, 6 December 2019 (UTC)

Help
I've notified other members of the MilHistory project because I'm interested in your and other contributors' input. There is a discussion going on at the Easter Rising talk page about whether the rising should be considered part of the Great War in the infobox because it was significantly influenced by it. Can you please contribute? 98.221.136.220 (talk) 20:48, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
