Hello Zeloo,

I was a business partner and friend of Hiep Thi Le before she passed away. She wrote a book on her memoirs called Daughter of the Sea My Voyage to Freedom and Womanhood. It is a wonderful read of how she escaped Vietnam and her journey to star in Heaven and Earth by Oliver Stone as well as on The show Chopped, Chef, and her own restaurant in Venice Ca called Le Cellar . After she passed I published her memoirs and it is available at Amazon, Barns and Nobel and Walmart. I will be releasing her second book called Mr Duck ( a bedtime story that her mother use to tell the children before bed) later this year or the beginning of 2021. Www.Daughterofthesea.net is the website that describes the book. It was one of Hieps last wishes to complete the book for her journey to share for the world and her children, Roxy and Finn.

If you have questions please contact me at +19168709590 or jillp@Daughterofthesea.net

Much appreciated!

Overlinking

edit

Hi! Per WP:Overlink, "names of subjects with which most readers will be at least somewhat familiar" such as "London", "England", "English", "American", "actor" etc. should not be linked. I'm removing links of this kind you added at Jonny Phillips (actor) and elsewhere. Happy editing, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:35, 10 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I got it. Thank you. Zeloo Nguyen (talk) 04:55, 11 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Vic Tayback, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page American (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Pamela Kosh moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Pamela Kosh, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Michael Zegen's birthday

edit

Hi! I noticed that you stated that Zegen's birthday was on February 20, 1979, stating to check his "official instagram account".[1] I have checked Instagram and found posts confirming his birthday being on February 20, so thanks for the information! But as a suggestion, next time you should add the source which confirms this information instead of only citing it in your edit summary. Otherwise, information that is not supported with a reliable source can get removed or have a "Citation Needed" tag added. Without his post or other reliable sources stating when his birthday is, the sources provided only give an estimated birth date of February/March 1979. Thanks for your kind words! I will take note of this. Zeloo Nguyen (talk) 10:10, 26 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello Zeloo Nguyen! Your additions to The Summer of Ben Tyler have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 20:17, 25 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much for the explanation. I understand it now. Zeloo Nguyen (talk) 05:30, 26 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Right to Die (film)

edit

Hi! Your recent edits to the page Right to Die (film) did build it out, yet somehow you managed to remove key content, including every single piece of information about the film’s topic or plot. Please consider restoring that information, since a basic summary of a film’s plot is a normal, expected item on a movie’s wiki page. Regards, — tooki (talk) 22:44, 15 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Cho Gue-sung 2023.JPG

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Cho Gue-sung 2023.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 20:31, 9 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
