Help me

There doesn't seem to be a place to leave a summary when you create a new section on a talk page. Is there a way to enter in some sort of summary in this case? Thanks!

When you add a new section, the section heading will also be used as the edit summary, with an additional "new section" explanation. See for example this edit's summary. You can also edit the entire talk page, add a new section at the end manually, and choose whatever edit summary you want, but that's far more effort. Huon (talk) 21:31, 5 April 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for the explanation on the edit summaries, Huon! I think that simply using the heading as the summary is the best way to do things - a well-crafted heading should be the best indicator of the changes anyway! Favellefavco (talk) 01:18, 14 April 2014 (UTC)

Username
