Hello, Zeroprofit, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Wikipedia Boot Camp, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Userpage vandalism

edit

Please do not leave your comments on the userpages of others. If you have a comment for someone, please leave it on a discussion page. You should also know that Wikipedia has a policy that forbids personal attacks against others, and the comment you left on Ikkyu2's page probably falls under that heading. I am not attacking you. I am trying to let you know about some rules at Wikipedia that you are in danger of breaking. It doesn't really matter what disagreements you've had with Ikkyu2. The kind of message you left on his userpage is unacceptable here under any circumstances. Joyous | Talk 21:19, 12 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Zeroprofit, I don't intend to come across as antagonistic. I think you're confusing disagreement with personal attacks. You might read this page to get an idea of what Wikipedia editors generally consider "attacking." I'm actually trying to help you out, because making attacks on Ikkyu2 (as defined at WP:NPA can get you blocked from editing this site. I don't want that to happen. Hi there! You left some comments on my userpage. I hope I can clear up a couple of things:

  1. My userpage isn't for you to leave your responses. It's not part of the Wikipedia encyclopedia; it's a place for me to express my point of view and my opinions. You're free to disagree, but you shouldn't put your disagreement on my userpage.
  2. Every page in the Wikipedia project has a "talk page" associated with it. You can, and are invited to, express your feelings about my userpage on its associated talk page. Click here to access that page. You can see many other comments people have left for me on that page.
  3. Sorry to hear you seem to have some beef with me. Let me know what I've done to upset you and maybe we can straighten it out.
  4. Welcome to Wikipedia!

Please refrain from removing content from Wikipedia, as you did to Windows Vista. It is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Also, there is a process to deleting articles (you can't just arbitrarily decide to delete an article). Please see the link Wikipedia:Articles for Deletion. — File:Ottawa flag.png     nathanrdotcom (TCW) 02:36, 24 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
