Regarding the Names of God in Islam article
editI am sorry if this displeases you, but the wording of articles has to be close to the sources (as defined here) that the article uses. While there is a difference between attributes and proper names in native English, epithets tend to be treated as names, while attributes tend to be impersonal. I have started a discussion on the article's talk page (found here), and hopefully we may be able to find something .
I recommend telling your friends that it is illogical to say that 99 names means 99 different beings: the Lord is known as Allah in Arabic, Yahweh in Hebrew, Tengri in Mongolian, Enkai in the Maasai language, Deiu in French... but these names all address the same Lord. I hope you have a more pleasant experience on Wikipedia in the future. Ian.thomson (talk) 16:33, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
