Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Fellbeast.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Fellbeast.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 20:03, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Regarding Giordano Bruno, grammar and a few other things.
editthe sentence, "which conceptually extended the novel Copernican model" suggests that this model is novel, which here mean "new and unusual". Adding the word "then" means that the idea was novel at that time but allows that it is no longer novel. Now on to wikipedia stuff. When you leave a message on someone's talk page you do it by selecting the "'new section'" tab at the top of the page. This places the new message at the bottom of the page. This is the accepted way to leave a message. Also, if you put something, anything, on your user page then your user name will change into a blue link rather than being the red one that it is now. This suggests to others, or at least to me, that you are not the dead end that red links suggest and that perhaps you are even a serious editor who intends to stay around. The "User Page" tab at the top left of this page will change color too. Consider it, Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 03:10, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

DS alert -us politics
editPlease carefully read this information:
The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding all edits about, and all pages related to post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.
Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.Re: Orlando
editI wasn't the one who undid those edits; that was Timothyjosephwood. And I'm not very appreciative of the comments you're making towards me. Wikipedia is not a forum. Parsley Man (talk) 00:38, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
@Zgrillo2004, If what wikipedia calls a "reliable source" (which you can learn about by clicking that link) calls him a "terrorist" then we can say that in the article because it meets our requirement of WP:Verification. Comments you have been posting along the lines that the facts are "X" so obviously we can say "Y" amounts to WP:original research which is not allowed no matter how accurate (or not) your conclusions may be. Good luck. But you'll only fare well if you find those RS's (reliable sources) and let them do the talking instead of your opinion. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 01:20, 28 September 2016 (UTC)

Discretionary sanctions alert
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

editPlease remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on Talk:Gab (social network). Thank you. Grayfell (talk) 03:05, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Gab (social network) for general discussion of the topic or other unrelated topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you. Your post at Talk:Gab (social network) was a clear violation of the discretionary sanctions for American politics
editI'm giving you a free pass on that one, but let me make it clear that they cover behaviour, including behaviour on talk pages. Doug Weller talk 16:36, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to User talk:Doug Weller, you may be blocked from editing. Samf4u (talk) 16:46, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm gobsmacked. What sort of person after getting a warning for talk page behavior doubles down on it? Doug Weller talk 16:56, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
- And then thinks it's clever to do the same with an IP address, saying they hope I die. Didn't enough people die in the last few days from far right attacks? 17:47, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.
- Note: I don't think it makes sense to extend the courtesy of access to this page to you since you use it to continue your attacks, even if techniclly in the form of an unblock request. I've removed your "request"; please use UTRS instead, as described above. Bishonen | talk 18:25, 28 October 2018 (UTC).

A lot of conservatives aren't bad people
editA lot of them dislike the alt-right/far right as much as anyone who isn't conservative. Read National Review for instance. They dislike racists, anti-Semites, etc. Not being far right doesn't make one far left. Doug Weller talk 19:25, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
