editHi, I saw that your first version of A1 Top Masta was deleted. You recreated it at A1 Top Masta, where it has been tagged with several issues.
- This is written in a non-neutral tone. We cannot say on our own that something is excellent, creative, or so on. The article must be neutral, otherwise it runs the risk of coming across as promotional or even biased for or against the topic. So for example, rather than saying that the group is good at combining things, just say that they combine things.
- Avoid statements such as "everyone does..." and "everyone has...", as these statements are almost always unlikely to be true. For example, you have the statement "Every student has this song in the MP3, which can be said to be the youth of many people." This statement is very unlikely to be true, as it's very unlikely that absolutely every student in Chengdu has this downloaded. For example, not everyone likes the same stuff, so it stands to reason that people who don't like hip-hop wouldn't download it.
- The issue with statements of this nature is that while they may be intended to make something or someone seem more notable, it actually has the opposite effect and instead makes the topic seem like we're trying to promote or "sell" it to the reader, to convince them that they should like what's being discussed.
- When stating that someone is the only person to do something, make sure that you have a very good source that backs this up. For example, the article claimed that one of the members was the only rapper to also be a director, something that is almost certainly not the case. On a global scale the chances of someone being both a rapper and director are very high and would also be if looking solely at China.
- This needs sourcing that is independent of the group itself, in order to establish notability. It's especially important when it comes to claims of major claims, as we need to be able to back them up. Keep in mind that bands/groups aren't automatically notable and popularity in and of itself doesn't make something notable (but does make it likely that there will be sourcing), so the sourcing is absolutely necessary to establish notability.
- The history section has info about the members' individual exploits, but not really anything about what they've done together. Some background is fine, but the article should predominantly be about the band.
I hope that this all helps! I've done some cleanup to remove the promotional content, but I'm concerned that it could still be deleted because of the lack of independent coverage in reliable sources. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 13:24, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
