Article Critique Zhanyue Wang (talk) 08:54, 27 January 2017 (UTC) I visited the League of Legends page on Wikipedia, and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: citations, age, and completeness. The page introduces a popular game that show its basic information including game maps, games types, champion types, and special game modes.
First of all, the author used lots of reference in this article that makes reader more trust the information. Although there are many citations from the game’s official website, each fact is cited with an appropriate and reliable source for the League of Legends game because the official website is authoritative for the game. At the page, most citations are from the League of Legends official website or some web of game enthusiasts, they show the game basic information or some game experience, so any of the sources are not biased. In addition, any of the links are useful when click them. Next, the League of Legends page last modified on 18 January 2017, so the article is up-to-date. However, the citations are not as current as possible. At the page, the game types introduce normal matchmaking and ranked matchmaking, but the game had a new matchmaking with the game system up-to-date. The flex matchmaking is new one that help player to get high ranked level before the next competition season. Final, the article lacks some information that about game terminology and game operation. At the page, the author introduces basics information about the League of Legends game, business model, setting and lore, development, reception, and professional competition. The information cannot make reader to more clear learn about the game, so some information about game terminology and game operation that should be there. The viewpoints are not over- represented or under-represented. The author show kinds of information about the game in the page, and gave more detail citation to support the idea. For example, the author provided detailed information to support the idea that the game is a professional competition. Zhanyue Wang (talk) 08:54, 27 January 2017 (UTC)Zhanyue, Wang
