  Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses. Wikipedia is not the "Yellow Pages". If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets, such as Wikia's Yellowikis. Thank you. Cameron Scott (talk) 17:13, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is how wikipedia works - you've made your changes (against the consensus established on the talkpage of that article), you try to ram them through and have been reverted. There are two ways this can now go, you can either continue to try and ram them in - that will lead to your account being blocked and the article being locked from editing by anyone except established editors like me - you and your company will be completely locked out of the process - or you can go to the talkpage of that article and try and argue your case. The other problem with edit-warring in the way you are doing is that it sucks in more and more established editors and you will find it increasingly difficult to make any changes at all. It's your call. --Cameron Scott (talk) 17:32, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I can understand that. I'm not looking for a fight or to be subversive. I will go to the talkpage and work with you in finding a resolution. I just ask you work with me here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ‎ ZigglerD (talkcontribs) 17:42, 23 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, ZigglerD. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Wedbush Securities, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 03:44, 5 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
