edit

A tag has been placed on Augusta "Tina" Lagostena Bassi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I see you have expanded the article. I do not think you meant to add a hangon tag, for that simply lists it for deletion. what you meant is probably "underconstruction,", but you have enough there for it to be unnecessary. I cleaned it up a little, but it needs some more copyediting & checking for just what are the correct English names of some of the various international committees mentioned. (or use the official Italian names--and check the correct official italian name of the national parliamentary committee, and the universities.)But what it really needs is some third-party published references to her career. It shouldn't be difficult; there should certainly have been newspaper articles about her career. Its OK if they are in Italian.

You should also link to the article about her in the Italian wikipedia if there is one; if not, you should write one there also. DGG (talk) 00:19, 16 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
