Notability
editI just deleted Anne Bowler because her just being a professor does not make her notable in itself. You have to explain why she is notable... does she have many published works? etc. etc. gren グレン 20:01, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
I have placed a tag on the article Anne Bowler, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. I did this because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person but it does not indicate how or why that person is notable. If you can indicate why Anne Bowler is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Anne Bowler. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
