Valter Külvet (19 February 1964 – 2 July 1998) was an Estonian athlete. He competed in the men's decathlon at the 1988 Summer Olympics, representing the Soviet Union.[1] He died due to injuries received from a beating while being robbed.[2] He won a gold medal at the 1983 European Athletics Junior Championships and a silver medal at the 1985 Summer Universiade.
