Vartun (Persian: ورطون)[a] is a village in Sistan Rural District of Sistan District, Kuhpayeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 477 in 123 households, when it was in the former Kuhpayeh District of Isfahan County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 479 people in 153 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 576 people in 187 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]

In 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhpayeh County. The rural district was transferred to the new Sistan District.[6]
