Viktor Musavirovich Afzalov (Russian: Виктор Мусавирович Афзалов; born 9 June 1968) is a Russian colonel general, who has served as the Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces since 20 October 2023, when he succeeded Sergey Surovikin, who was removed by Vladimir Putin. [3][4][2][5]
