Volvarina attenuata, common name attenuated marginella, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Marginellidae, the margin snails.[1]

Description
editThe length of the shell attains 15.9 mm.
The shell is conically ovate, somewhat fusiform and transparent horny. The spire is a little exserted. The whorls are slightly swollen round the upper part and attenuated towards the base. The outer lip is flexuous. The columella shows obliquely four-plaited.[2]
