It reached #2 in Australia, #2 in Canada,[2] #5 on the U.S. pop chart, #7 on the U.S. R&B chart, and #11 on the UK Singles Chart in 1960.[3] The song ranked #14 on Billboard magazine's Top 100 singles of 1960.[4]
