Questions:
editHave you read the AMA FAQ?
- Answer:yes
How would you describe the nature of this dispute? (policy violation, content dispute, personal attack, other)
- Answer: Content Dispute and personal Attack
What methods of Dispute Resolution have you tried so far? If you can, please provide wikilinks so that the Advocate looking over this case can see what you have done.
- Answer: I am new to the WikiWord. I am not sure how to use all the tool that are provided. But I do have out side documented sources. I have tried to reason with this person outside of Wiki and the other party seems to be unreasonable.
What do you expect to get from Advocacy?
- Answer:I except that this be settled so that I dont have to deal with this person following up behind me and undoing my edits
Summary:
editI found the WPMu wiki and edited it to share more information about the possibilities that WPMu has to offer. I assume after that Eminemjamesuk found my link and notice my server error which I fix. he left unwarranted comment on my site and went further more to attack me on my last edit of the WPMU site. I researched the site that he seems to be advocating for and it does not belong placed along side the notable communties. the difference between my WPMU and the other parties WPMU is mine is mainly for me to be able to produce a new blog quickly so that I can have one when i want. the other parties is set up in the image of wordpress.com or Blogger. a person attack was taken in the last edit and that is what prompted me to send this request.
Discussion:
editHello - I will most likely not be your advocate, but for clarity I'd like to clarify some of your points here. Is this dispute focoused around our Wikipedia article WordPress MU or the website itself [1]? Many thanks, Martinp23 22:19, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've changed my mind - I will now be advocating for you, and will try to resolve the dispute. Martinp23 22:48, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
The wikipage WordPress MU if you look in the history the user right after me add a site called Journal blue which I later found they them self are the admin of I was looking for my records and found that I deleted comments made by them. as to help keep the image of my site. but the history alone and the reason for the last update on WordPress MU is enough to warrant a request for help. Designdroide
I remebered that gmail stores all of my emails and i was wondering if logs of IPs would help my case. in showing that the edit that was performed removing my WPMU off of the WordPress MU page and saying that I am a know-nothingDesigndroide
- OK - I've taken a look at the edits by Eminemjamesuk and have warned him for incivility. He seems to have disengaged from the dispute. Postong of one's own websites is in clear violation of WP:EL, but is not a blockable offence (at least on the first few occurences). It will be important to just keep to notable blogs on that page (if any), and avoid linking to any personal sites. The golden rules is that is your site is notable enough, someone else will add it in time. Thanks, Martinp23 17:27, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- as you saw someone took the notable communities out I am fine with at but i do think that it should be recognize that Wordpress.com has over 0.5million and only usesWPMU. As long as I try to keep honor of page I am fine.--Designdroide 20:13, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Are you happy with the links included in the article now, or is there one you'd like to add or remove, so that I can advise you if this is best, and explain the policies? Martinp23 21:15, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
