New Coordinator Election

• Result: Steve was elected as the official coordinator with a vote of 10/0/0.

Advocacy Handbook Rewrites

• Result: Pedant volunteered and made quality additions to the documentation as well as an example of case documentation. Further case studies may be a good thing to investigate and include.

a comment on the section header 'discussion'

• Result: Pedant brought up an issue of style concerning the heading "Discussion" which will be implemented in the next Meeting.

Advocacy Alerts

• Result: Not enough discussion.

System of Accountability

• Result: General consensus that a System of Accountability needs to be implemented without ex post facto enforcements. General consensus believes that peer review seems to be the best way to do this. Geo created an example system at Wikipedia:AMA_Meeting/review. This item requires further discussion.

Notes on the above (filling out forms)

• Result: General consensus that mandatory forms to fill out is a bad thing. Case histories, however, may be a good thing to keep (for difficult cases and provided they are not mandatory) and Pedant demonstrated how a simple case history could be put together.

Standard terminology

• Result: The term "Advocee" is what was generally decided on to refer to a Wikipedian who has requested Advocacy.

Deputy Coordinators

• Result: Aeon and Wikiwoohoo were instated as Deputy Coordinators.

Election Officers

• Result: May be useful in the future. Further discussion needed as no consensus on how to proceed was reached.

Further WP:AMARQ streamlining

• Result: General consensus that the streamlining process is a good idea. Steve working on new implementation at Category:AMA Requests for Assistance.

Topics from December '06 Meeting

• Discussion building AMA teams that can work on difficult cases or support for difficult cases. Perhaps building a pyramidal structure so we know who we can go to if we need help. --CyclePat 06:01, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

• Discussion Possibility of co-developing with WP:Esperanza some sort of a referral program to handle cases that only require minimal "helping hand" interventions.
• Roll over from last meeting - A system of accountability - clarification and consensus required on the proposals brought up last time.
• Discussion/Election of the need for a replacement deputy co-ordinator for Aeon1006, since his (temporary) resignation and wikibreak.

• Discussion: What does the section of the FAQ regarding advocates appearing on multiple sides of a dispute mean and can we reprase the section to make its point more effectively?
