Shortcuts

Team-B-Vital is a collaboration effort by the unofficial Wikimedia Community Discord server. The #team-b-vital channel is an effort towards running collaborative pushes to bring vital articles up to B class if possible, similar to WP:Articles for Improvement. Each effort will run for two weeks, ending early if the article in question is either felt to be at B-class or impossible to improve further. Articles are chosen by a week-long vote evey other week among interested chatters, with the goal of working together on improving various vital articles.

Though improved from Start to C and significantly cleaned up, participants generally felt the topic has proven very broad and difficult to properly source. Most B criteria are met and ORES predicts 80% B assessment, but broadness and completeness is likely still lacking (diff).
Okonomiyaki	[ ]	August 5, 2021 – August 11, 2021	Chosen for the fourth and final trial run effort; a final source was added to resolve a citation needed tag the next day after it ended. Article improved from Start to B (diff).	(September 3, 2021)
Garden	[ ]	August 12, 2021 – August 18, 2021	Chosen for the first non-trial week, another rather broad topic. Low participation, with some minor cosmetic edits, but no major expansions (diff).
News program	[ / ]	August 19, 2021 – August 25, 2021	Shortly before the topic was selected, a merger to News broadcast was proposed. The merger was completed mid-way through the effort. News broadcast itself was improved from Start to C (diff).
Waterfall	[ ]	August 26, 2021 – September 1, 2021	Reassessed as B class on August 28, 2021, with a few further improvements over the week (diff).
Winnie-the-Pooh (book)	[ ]	September 2, 2021 – September 8, 2021	Reassessed as B class on September 7, 2021 (diff).
Kingdom of Georgia	[ ]	September 9, 2021 – September 15, 2021	A special request from WP:CCI, the article was rated as a B but was substantially pruned due to copyright cleanup. Some content was recovered, but concerns about the sourcing and suitability of the prior text beyond copyright concerns dropped the article to C (diff).
Match fixing	[ ]	September 16, 2021 – September 22, 2021	Some cleanup to the article was achieved and a little sourcing improved, but overall the article is at a C (diff). More sourcing would be needed to raise to B.
