Function details: Uncategorized articles which do not currently transclude {{uncategorized}} are identified via a script running on the toolserver [1]. Articles appearing on this list would have {{uncategorized}} added to them, provided they met certain independently-evaluated criteria:
- No usages of {{inuse}}
- No usages of {{wi}} (used to identify soft-redirects to Wiktionary)
- No usages of {{uncategorized}}
- No categories appear directly in the Wikitext of the article.
- The page is not a redirect.
Several other bots have been approved for this purpose, but now appear to be inactive.
