Discussion
editThis request is too vague to be approved, IMO:
- "Replace and remove of anything" is simply far too vague, as is "replace of templates, categories, text, and image remove of templates, categories, text, and images, it also can add images and categories". Such blanket approval is normally not given except to proven bot operators and typically has various limitations designed to ensure consensus exists before the bot begins editing.
- "Typo fixing" is generally not a good task for a bot. Better to do it as script-assisted edits on your normal account, where each edit is manually checked and approved.
- There is no indication as to what "Wikipedia:Signpost task" might be.
- You will need to specify exactly which errors on Wikipedia:WikiProject Check Wikipedia you intend to fix.
In general, it's better for each request to cover just one task so the discussion can be better focused; trying to discuss 9 tasks at once leads to unnecessary confusion. Anomie⚔ 15:53, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- We already have like 4 or 5 bots doing checkwiki fixes. If anything we need fewer bots working on that. Mr.Z-man 23:46, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The bot operator doesnt have a specific task in mind for the bot. The user is relatively inexprienced and never used AWB ever till now and 95% of the edits are only with Huggle. With no offence meant to the user, I support denying the BRFA at this point. -- Tinu Cherian - 12:48, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
