Automatic, Supervised, or Manual: Automatic
Programming language(s): AWB
Source code available: AWB
Function overview: Template removal
Links to relevant discussions (where appropriate): This request, following the outcome of this TfD
Edit period(s): One-time run
Estimated number of pages affected: 4,500
Exclusion compliant (Yes/No): Yes
Already has a bot flag (Yes/No): No
Function details: By request following a recent TfD and according to instructions on {{Non-free audio sample}}, the bot will use AWB's find-and-replace feature to
- Remove {{has-NFUR}} (i.e. replace "{{has-NFUR}}" with "")
- Replace "{{Non-free audio sample}}" with "{{Non-free audio sample|image has rationale=yes}}"
- Apply general fixes
This will only be performed on pages which contain both {{has-NFUR}} and {{Non-free audio sample}}. There are about 4500 of them that I've found; I made a list of them here. I have done this a few times manually (using AWB); here are some diffs: [1], [2], [3].
Discussion
editI already have an open BRFA for this task. And your #3 isn't sufficient, it needs to include all non-free license templates, as pointed out in this request. LegoKontribsTalkM 03:48, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
