Programming Language(s): PHP
Function Overview: Deletion of uncontroversial pages from CAT:TEMP
Edit period(s): Daily
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): N
Function Details: This bot is a replacement for User:CAT:TEMP deletion Bot. As is ongoing with the current discussions at WT:DEL, it seems that there is consensus that users blocked indef for vandalism can be deleted uncontroversially. As such, this bot will only delete pages of users blocked as vandalism only accounts. Nothing else. That avoid all sockpuppets, all controversial users, etc.
Discussion
editYou're talking about the talk pages of vandal-only users, not the user pages, right? Looking over the discussion, the arguments for deleting these pages look convincing, but it does not look to me like there is consensus. I certainly wouldn't say such deletion is "uncontroversial". – Quadell (talk) 00:28, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually, I've been emailed by Arbcom asking why I approved the first bot, so I am going to forward this request to them to see if there is some standing order against such things that we are not aware of. MBisanz talk 00:47, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
