Discussion
edit- Purpose: The level of traffic and size of my talk page sometimes means that messages get missed: this reduces that problem.
- Note: If other users wanted the same service I would move it to another bot as Femto is too small to cope with more than one user.

- As per the bot policy you do not need approval to run your bot on your talk page. Also when editing the WP:BRFA page please don't copy the content of the page into the edit summary, something like "Adding Femto Bot 2" is better. d'oh! talk 03:59, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks for reminding me of that D'oh, and sorry about the edit summaries (It is the section header - but I hadn't allowed for html comments). I will press on, on that basis, but I would still appreciate approval from BAG, speedy or otherwise. Rich Farmbrough, 08:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]

{{BAG assistance needed}} Isn't this a bit open to abuse? For example, an editor placing the archive trigger ("---") at the end of every section. Also note edit summary suggestion here - Kingpin13 (talk) 08:09, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Yes, but it is as much effort for them to do that as to delete every section - (or more effort than to change all the dates to 2000) - in this case at least they would still be in the archive. Incidentally I was amused and pleased to notice one of my talk page regulars has picked up on using the "--" to indicate a closed thread. Rich Farmbrough, 10:18, 6 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]
- Approved. Fair enough, and it's not like the bot can't be reverted - Kingpin13 (talk) 11:33, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
