Also note this bot is able to undo itself if needed. All you have to do is post a message to me, and I can undo the work of this bot. Posting to the bot's talk page will cause the bot to stop immediatly. —— Eagle (ask me for help) 21:04, 9 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- There appear to be other bots already approved to do this exact task. If you can confirm this and assure me that you are performing the exact same type of work, then your task should gain initial approval for a trial run, based on previous precedent. I'll await your response first though. -- RM 02:50, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- A problem that was run in to with this task and other bots before was letting it go off and process the whole page without vrifiying the discussions. Preferably bots closing these should include the CFD link in their edit summary, and should only bet let loose on a category once the operator has identified it has been properly listed there. — xaosflux Talk 06:34, 10 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Correct, it is the same task as other bots on that page. I listed only becuase of the backlog that I see there. To Xaosflux, I would always want to verify the state of the discussion. —— Eagle (ask me for help) 01:11, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
