- The bot will not be crawling. I am reading the stats off of a web browser, and entering them into my command prompt. LegoKontribsTalkM 06:29, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Almost every single NHL bio links to hockeydb.com with "Player Name's career stats at The Internet Hockey Database". Since this bot wont copy any statistics, which is hockeydb.com's primary asset, and link directly to the website I can't see how it would be a problem. —Krm500 (Communicate!) 06:35, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to fix that typo... ;) Would it be possible to have the bot import the player's career stats as well? No big deal if that would add a lot of work, especially given the wikisyntax involved to make it match other articles. Resolute 00:20, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- nm. if it isn't crawling, you're just adding it all by hand anyway. Resolute 00:25, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Additional comment: Nicknames shouldn't be included in article titles. i,e,: Lloyd "Red" Doran. That should either be at Lloyd Doran, or Red Doran if he was known primarily by his nickname. (ala Red Dutton) Resolute 00:28, 21 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- All fixed. I just discovered this massive category and am now incorporating it. I also am now getting some information off of hockey-reference.com for what hockeydb doesnt have. LegoKontribsTalkM 00:16, 26 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Some... I can't find players that need creating. If anyone has a list, that would be great. LegoKontribsTalkM 00:13, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
